Marluxis is a track based on a story that an old friend and Answered were writing. It accounts for two perspectives of two separate characters.

hence the name Damien, Marluxis being the name of the central star in that system.

Why do I constantly shapeshift and make myself into a martyr? A simple black and white would remind me who I am. I can't cope with the way things are when I'm the only star in the sky, i have countless illusions of a broken man.

Why do I host this masquerade when I'm the only one dressed up? I've traded my comfort and bliis just so I could be noticed by gods that I crawl passed. I'll marry myself into your chess game, and by the end, I'll have resigned. I'm equipped with a royal flush, but it isn't much when my cards are made of glass.

Oh Damien, what have you become since the child's eyes of life? I only regret having told you to live out your dreams, 'cause now you live in strife. I'm just a simple man without the will or the means to unify our lands, I choose to close my hands.
